DRAGON CHILLING WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!!!! Blitz Full Analysis

I analyzed their victory in the rapid section in another post and the 4 loses in a row of Magnus in another one so now it's time of blitz!!!!
In the first day of the blitz they played a swiss tournament and later a round of 16 with 8 spots for the knockout of the last day, we haven't surprises and all the top teams qualyfied. Magnus was the mvp with 8 victories in a row

QUARTERFINALS

We had an amazing start of the decisive day with the 4 matches being so so equal with the huge surprise of the Team Uzbekistab beating eliminating the team of Magnus, Caruana,So, Vachier... the dream team!!! they disappointed in the rapids and now in the blitz, the young team of Uzbekistan takes them down 3.5-2.5 and 3-3. The key of the match was the amateur board with the asian guy beating the owner of the WR team 2-0. This victory with the berlin versus a player with 200 more blitz rating points was very important too.

Firouzja revenged on Pragg with 1.5-0.5 who beat him in the rapids and the 2 wins of Murzin.
Sarana with 2 wins eliminated the other indian team and the Endgame IA advanced to the semifinals.
And the winners of the rapid section and the team of Mr Birdie won each one one match 3.5-2.5 so in the tiebreak this aggressive game decided everything

SEMIFINALS

In the fight for the medals we had the 2 asian teams facing each other and the 2 internationals the same.
Dragon Chilling won the first match 4.5-1.5 but in the second one Uzbekistan tied the score.
In the tiebreaks the winners of the rapid section secured the medal with another 4.5-1.5
Ju Wenjun with 2/2 and Yu Yangyi with 3/3 were the keys of the match.

In the other semifinals Murzin archieved the only victory in the first match but in the second one his team was destroyed 5-1 but withh the strange format this means tiebreaks where the MVP of the day Sarana destroyed Giri to reach the final.

BATTLE FOR THE GOLD

All the play off was so so equal with many tiebreaks but the finals went completely different, Dragon Chilling won 5-1 each match to secure the second gold. We had the only win of Ding in the day but in the most important moment.

Incredible performance of Dragon Chilling winning both world champions and very happy to see Ding Liren at the top back.
Congratulations to Niemann and his team who fighted so well in this knockout to reach the finals.

The young team of Uzbekistan won the tiebreak for the third place 5.5-0.5 so congratulations, im happy to see a team who are all from the same countrie winning medals, could be great if other politicians support the sports as the asiatics.
