Understanding a complicated Prophylactic Move in the basic Italian Game

OpeningStrategyAnalysis
There is a complex move that really helps White in a very basic and generally straight-forward opening. It is in the Giouco Piano of the Italian Game.

Introduction

Most people know and play the Italian Game - one of the most basic openings and probably the easiest to learn aside from the London System. However, there is a complicated move with Black that you must play if you don't want to get your head blown off the board. In such a basic opening, this move makes comparisons to a Jaguar (the complicated prophylactic move) in a farm (the basic opening and strategy)

Thank you for reading my blog post. I hope you understood these interesting moves in positions that look like they don't do anything but are shockingly very helpful. If there is anything you would like to add or any clarifying questions, please ask them to me.
