About me

I am a 22-year-old Woman Candidate Master (WCM) from Venezuela. Currently in my seventh semester of Informatics Engineering, I combine my passion for high-performance sports with a highly analytical and structured mindset. As a member of the 2024 Venezuelan Olympic Chess Team and currently competing in the classification cycle for the next Olympiad, I know exactly what it takes to perform at the highest levels under pressure.

Playing experience

I have a long, active trajectory in competitive chess. I proudly represented Venezuela at the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest (2024), and I am currently battling in the official classification process to secure my spot for the next Olympiad. I am also a three-time National Youth Champion (2019, 2022, 2023), and I earned my WCM title at the Central American and Caribbean Youth Championship. I constantly compete at the highest national level, securing medals in the National Games and placing in the top 5 of the National Maximum Category.

Teaching experience

As a university student in Informatics Engineering, my teaching approach is heavily influenced by logic, algorithms, and structural problem-solving. Having spent years analyzing high-level games and preparing for tournaments, I know how to effectively transmit professional calculation methods, tactical vision, and logical decision-making under pressure. I don't just teach you moves; I teach you how to think.

Other experiences

My academic background in engineering gives me a unique perspective on chess. Chess, much like programming, is about executing the right algorithms, recognizing patterns, and calculating precise sequences to solve complex problems. I apply these exact engineering methodologies—deep structural analysis and cold, logical thinking—directly to my coaching.

Best skills

Chess Skills: Deep calculation, sharp tactical vision, and solid positional understanding. My absolute strength lies in evaluating complex middle-games, calculating long variations, and finding the objective truth on the board.
Teaching Skills: I specialize in breaking down complex elite-level concepts into understandable, logical steps. I train my students to think systematically, build tactical muscle, improve board visualization, and eliminate blunders through structured thought processes.

Teaching methodology

My coaching is driven by the core principles of the Polgar Method, integrated with my personal "Engineering Logic" approach. I use a rigorous, structured framework that treats chess as a logical system:
The Inverted Curriculum: We prioritize endgame mastery and structural fundamentals before diving into complex opening theory. You must understand the destination to play the opening correctly.
Systematic Tactical Drilling: High-volume, intense calculation exercises designed to foster instinctive pattern recognition, build tactical muscle, and ensure absolute precision.
Logical Stress-Testing: Training to evaluate positions coldly and execute methodical plans under high-level competitive pressure.
Objective Game Analysis: We monitor progress through deep analytical review of your games, eliminating systematic errors and finding the absolute truth on the board.
